Privacy Policy

SoloCrew is a monitor and remote app for the Nikon ZR, made by Yakimenko Labs. This policy explains what the app does with information. In short: SoloCrew does not collect, store on our servers, sell or share personal data.

What we collect

Nothing. SoloCrew has no account, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. We do not run servers that receive data from the app.

What stays on your phone

Your settings, imported LUT files and the clips you save are stored only on your phone. Saved clips go to the Movies/SoloCrew folder, where your gallery app can see them. When you play a clip from the camera card, the app keeps a temporary copy in its own cache, which it trims as it fills and Android can clear at any time. Live view frames are shown on screen and are not saved by the app. Video is recorded by your camera to its own memory card.

How the app talks to your camera

SoloCrew connects directly to your Nikon ZR over Wi-Fi (the camera’s network, your phone’s hotspot or a shared network) or over a USB-C cable. These connections stay between your phone and your camera.

Permissions

Location and Nearby Wi-Fi devices: Android requires these to find and join the camera’s Wi-Fi network. SoloCrew does not track your location.

Network access: to connect to the camera on the local network. The app does not send your data to the internet.

Internet: used only by Google Play to buy and restore PRO.

Notifications: to show that a camera session is running and give you a stop control.

Problem reports

If you choose to send a problem report, SoloCrew prepares a text log of the camera link. It contains no pictures and no passwords. It leaves your phone only when you share it, for example by email to us. We use it only to fix the problem and delete it when it is no longer needed.

Purchases

PRO is sold through Google Play. Google processes the payment under its own privacy policy. We receive no payment card details.

Children

SoloCrew is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from anyone.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above.
